Meet an Olympian!
On November 29th 2025, four of the club's Star Skaters along
with Coach Sherry made their way to Thompson MB to meet
Elizabeth Manely. Our skaters were provided with a clinic put
on by Elizabeth and other coaches where they worked on
various skills. At the end of the day, Elizabeth told her story
about the road to silver at the 1988 Olympics and the
importance of taking care of your mental health. It was truly a
special day! Thank you, Thompson Skate Club, for extending
the invitation to Star Skaters from The Pas and Gillam.
